The Environmental Laboratory of Wireless Communication Systems for Special Applications (Środowiskowe Laboratorium Systemów Łączności Bezprzewodowej dla Potrzeb Specjalnych - LSŁB) is prepared to conduct research in the field of testing mobile network terminals with 2G-4G radio interfaces, including NB-IoT. Measurements can be carried out in the test mode of connecting terminals to the emulated base station, or by carrying out test data transmissions in the form of performance/benchmark tests. Additionally, the laboratory testbed enables emulation of the conditions observed in radio channel in various propagation environments.
Moreover, the LSŁB laboratory is equipped with other specialized units (selected ones):
- vector signal generators,
- portable and mobile spectrum analyzers,
- programmable radio devices operating in FR1 band with bandwidth up to 400 MHz,
- vector network analyzers,
- electromagnetic field meter,
- radio communication testers and shield boxes,
- radio scanner with mobile network identification function,
- broadband antenna sets for measurement purposes.
The key offered services:
- radio environment measurements,
- searching for sources of unwanted / jamming signals,
- measurements of active and passive radio communication components,
- measurements of cellular networks signal parameters,
- testing selected radiocommunication devices,
- recording signals of wideband radio interfaces,
- generating radio signals with configurable parameters.
