Research

Our research includes methods of non-invasive medical diagnostics and electronic monitoring of environment and focus on:

  • the development of different electroimpedance techniques and their applications for non-invasive testing of biological tissues like  electroimpedance spectroscopy and electroimpedance tomography,
  • the development of methods of measurement; modeling and reconstruction in the EIT;
  • the development of methods of medical diagnosis through thermal processes, infrared thermography; thermal tomography;
  • the development of new types of sensors like:

    - toxic gas sensors based on solid ionic conductors;
    - electrochemical sensors;
    - humidity sensors;
    - methods based on voltammetric and impedance measurements;

  • the development of methods of experiment planning for optimal dosing of drugs and the assessment of ecosystems;
  • the development of methods for processing medical images;the development of information systems in medicine, including the implementation of standards DICOM, HL7;
  • the development of methods for evaluation osteoporosis;
  • the development of methods of cardiac monitoring;
  • the development of cancer diagnostics methods;
  • the development methods of burn diagnosis
  • the development methods of the brain diagnosis.
