NCBR M-ERA.NET3 Call 2023

To the project "Innovative stent coating with polyphenol-rapamycin complex with improved drug-eluting properties to target in-stent restenosis (PoRaCoat)", financed by M-ERA.NET3 Call 2023 and the National Center for Research and Development, realised in dates 01.06.2024-31.05.2027, the Department of Functional Materials Engineering is looking for a post-doc (contract of mandate).

Requirements:

  • Education: PhD / PhD Eng. in biomedical engineering, materials science, chemistry, electronics, or a related field
  • Experience: research in R/R&D projects; research should be related to biomedical applications, materials science, or a related field
  • participation and presentation of results at scientific conferences
  • co-author of several scientific
  • knowledge of materials science (in particular: polymers, conducting polymers, metals) and advanced knowledge of electrochemistry
  • knowledge of conducting research and analyzing the structure and morphology of materials
  • fluent communication in English (min. level B2)

Tasks to be performed: 

  • conducting studies on the synthesis of polyphenol-based drug coatings on CoCr platforms
  • conducting studies to optimize the incorporation of a polyphenol-based drug complex into the polymer coating structure on CoCr platforms under different process conditions
  • performing physicochemical analyses of the prepared stent coating samples
  • preparing reports and manuscripts based on the conducted research
  • presenting the research results at scientific conferences.

Employment conditions: contract of mandate about 6 000 PLN/month
