The offer of the Department of Computer Architecture is addressed to the economic environment and it involves mainly cooperation in the scientific and industrial consortia. Among the proposed solutions suitable for implementation and commercialization are:
- System for archiving and assisting in endoscopy (gastroenterology)
- Quality assessment package supporting the development of applications and systems,
- System for user friendly access to cluster computing environments,
- Platform allowing the processing of streams of multimedia data in a clustered environment.
In addition, the Department provides substantive support (counselling, evaluation, testing, design and implementation) in terms of:
- Construction of dedicated computer systems and information services to meet the needs of the information society,
- Optimal selection of parallel processing environments, distributed and collaborative management strategies and a strategy for efficient computing tasks,
- Quality assurance of computer systems and web applications, including operational efficiency and usability, reliability and safety.
