The aim of the course is to introduce students to the field of affective computing and the possibilities of using modern artificial intelligence methods for emotion recognition.
The course content includes:

- Emotion representation models for computer applications
- Methods of observing emotions by computer systems
- Automatic emotion recognition
- Unimodal methods of emotion recognition
- Multimodal emotion recognition methods and model evaluation
- Affectively tagged datasets
- Applications of emotion recognition
