The aim of the course is:

  • To familiarize students with the basic issues of professional ethics in the context of IT work.
  • Shaping ethical awareness in the design, implementation and use of IT systems.
  • An analysis of ethical dilemmas related to privacy, data security, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, and the impact of technology on society.
  • Developing critical thinking skills and making responsible decisions in professional work.
  • Understanding the role of legal and ethical standards in the creation and operation of information systems.
