Zarządzanie ewolucją systemów informacyjnych (Managing the evolution of information systems)
The aim of the course is to develop an understanding of the role and scope of information systems evolution processes, to acquire knowledge of basic methodologies and techniques related to the management of IT systems during their use and their modification, integration, migration, support services and business continuity management.

The scope of issues covered includes:
- The process of evolution of information systems
- Software quality and maintainability
- Change analysis and management
- Architectural and design patterns
- Data quality
- Configuration and Release Management, Continuous Integration
- Quality assurance, code quality
- Evolutionary manufacturing processes
- Agile, XP, Scrum methodologies
- IT service management, ITIL.
Project
As part of the project, students work in groups. Groups are assigned tasks requiring analysis in areas such as system change (integration, migration) or system continuity or service level management.
