Course profile
The purpose of the study is education of specialists in automatic control and robotics whose have basic knowledge about control systems design and implementation, including sensors, actuators, signal processing units, controllers, computer networks, methods and systems for control, decision support, and information management. The focus is placed on programmable logic controllers, devices and systems of autonomous robotics, control, and diagnosis.
Basic abilities
On completion of studies a graduate will have the fundamental ability to implement and maintain automatic control and robotic production systems in different branches of the industry, and to solve basic problems of decision making, process optimization, monitoring and diagnosis with the use of contemporary methods (including artificial intelligence).
Occupational perspectives
Graduates are qualified to work as control engineers or maintenance staff in industrial companies employing automatic control or robotic production stands, computer systems managing industrial plants or services. They can work as programmers of industrial controllers and computers, as well. The graduates are also qualified to continue their education in search of a master's degree (MSc).
