Course profile
The principal purpose of the study is gaining the theoretical knowledge and broadening of the practical experience within the scope of designing and analyzing analog and digital control systems, and gaining the ability to incorporate and implement advanced computer control concepts, such as adaptive control, robust control, fuzzy control and optimal control, process optimization, and elements of macro-economy.
Basic abilities
On completion of studies a graduate will have:
- the ability to design, analyze and implement modern control and robotic systems, as well as monitoring and diagnosis systems,
- the ability to solve single-handedly new control problems,
- the ability to apply new control technologies and methods of optimization and decision making.
Occupational perspectives
Graduates are qualified to work as chief control engineers, members of the research and development staff, designers of management and economics, free traders or managers in industrial companies. In a natural way they also make good candidates for doctoral (PhD) studies.
