POST-DOCTORAL | Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Requirements:

• Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or similar area, obtained no more than 7 years before starting the employment (the requirement imposed by the funding agency)
• Working knowledge of high-frequency design including antenna and/or microwave engineering
• Programming skills and working knowledge of Matlab programming environment
• Knowledge of mathematical modelling, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods
• Knowledge of optimization techniques, including surrogate-assisted methods
• English language skills (both speaking and writing)

Job description:

• Conducting research under the project „Unsupervised specification-driven design of antenna structures using artificial intelligence and machine learning”
• Development of optimization algorithms and numerical modeling procedures
• Development of simulation models using commercial packages (CST, ADS, HFSS, etc.)
• Writing technical reports and scientific papers
