Research

1. Hydrolocation systems and equipment – real signals-based verification:

  • underwater Doppler navigation,
  • high-resolution methods in the sonar with cylindrical antenna
  • theoretical analysis, software simulation, practical certification.

2. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) in hydro- and aero-acoustic real-time systems using HPEC (High Performance Embedded Computing):

  • ultrasonic and phonic channel systems,
  • ultrasonic and phonic broadband transmitters/antennas,
  • measurement analysis and real-time signals visualization,

3. Digital underwater communication systems (UAC) :

  • underwater monitoring networks
  • communications in the swarm of underwater autonomous vehicles (AUV).

4. Broadband interference of the speech signal in sound systems:

  • speech intelligibility criteria for Public Address Systems (PAS),
  • new standard for voice alarm and communication systems.

5. Analysis and modeling of broadband acoustic fields in the time domain for applications in communications and echolocations (UWB acoustics):

  • acoustical roots of  new radio technology (the acoustics is always wireless and UltraWide Band),
  • modeling, simulation and practical verification of the properties of  time-varying communications in air and underwater channels.
