For first degree students in the field of Computer Science, the Department offers a group of thematic activities related to the basic use of geoinformatic techniques as well as mobile technologies and systems.

During the courses on „Data processing on mobile platforms”, „GPS and Galileo Satellite navigation systems” and „Fundamentals of digital cartography”, students learn about the most commonly used techniques for spatial data processing, which additionally prepares them for secondary degree studies in this area.
