The specialization develops knowledge covering various areas of software development and maintenance, particularly for high-quality IT systems. A significant emphasis is placed on system security, usability, and reliability. Students also receive training in project management, IT product management, system evolution and maintenance, information security, as well as testing and quality. Furthermore, the specialization addresses requirements analysis, IT strategy, and business data analysis. Modern conceptualization, analysis, design, and development tools and techniques used daily in the IT industry are utilized during laboratories, projects, and workshops, with a particular emphasis on teamwork.
Graduates of this specialization will be prepared theoretically and practically to participate in an IT project and will have the awareness and basic skills related to a group approach to problem-solving.
Profile of the specialization graduate:
- can analyze business problems and select technological solutions,
- is prepared to produce IT systems with high complexity and/or high quality requirements,
- is able to work in a team and has competences in the field of IT project management.
