Part-time PhD student position in the field of computational electrodynamics
Key responsibilities include:
- Research related to the solution of nonlinear eigenvalue problems derived from Maxwell’s equations
- Development of algorithms and prototypes of numerical code (with an option to be made the code publicly available under a permissive open source license)
- Testing and benchmarking of algorithms and procedures
- Development of test designs using code
- Report writing
- Preparation of research papers for leading journals and conferences.
- Dissemination of project results on workshops and conferences
- Assisting MSc students
Required Education Level: MSc degree in microwave and antenna engineering
Skills/Qualifications:
- Documented research experience with computational electromagnetics
- Good publication record
- Interest in computational electromagnetics
Required Languages:
- Fluent English
Required Research Experience
MSc thesis or publications related to computational electromagnetics, Participant of the Doctoral School

Selection process
The recruitment process involves two steps
