Oferta stypendialna na stanowisko doktoranta w projekcie NCN pt. "Materiały kompozytowe na bazie hydrożelu przewodzącego jako elastyczne systemy do konwersji i magazynowania energii" / PhD student-scholarship position in NCN project titled "Conductive hydrogel-based composite materials for flexible energy conversion and storage devices"
Requirements:
- Education: higher (MSc, MSc. Eng.) in a field of biomedical engineering, materials engineering, chemistry, electronics, or other related.
- Professional experience: participation in a scientific project, a scientific conference for students, co-author in conference/journal publications are appreciated.
- The minimum required scope of knowledge and experience: basic knowledge in materials engineering (polymers, conducting polymers, catalytic particles) and electrochemistry (performing basic measurements), basic analysis of the material's structure and morphology; English language skills at an advanced level.
Tasks:
- optimization of the process of uniform dispersion of the catalyst particles to eliminate the formation of aggregates in the hydrogel structure,
- synthesis of conductive hydrogels based on PNIPAAm and conductive particles and/or conductive polymer as conductive fillers,
- conducting experiments with the analysis and development of test results of hydrogel materials in terms of oxygen evolution reaction (OER), electrical conductivity, morphological and physicochemical properties (SEM, EDS, FTIR),
- preparation of scientific manuscripts for publication,
- presentation of the results at the conferences.

Conditions of employment: scholarship 3000 PLN/month + successful recruitment to the doctoral school at GUT (https://pg.edu.pl/en/doctoral-school); period of contract/stipend agreement - 24 months.
